AFT Pharmaceuticals Ltd  (“AFT”) has partnered with Accelera Pharma Canada Inc. (“APCI”) as its exclusive importer and distributor of COMBOGESIC® IV in Canada.

INDICATIONS

COMBOGESIC IV (Acetaminophen/Ibuprofen Solution for intravenous Infusion ) is indicated for the short term management of:

• mild to moderate pain
• moderate to severe pain as an adjunct to opioid analgesics

and  where an intravenous route of administration is considered clinically necessary and/or when other routes of administration are not possible.

• Pediatrics

Pediatrics (< 18 years): No data are available to Health Canada; therefore, Health Canada has not authorized an indication for pediatric use.

• Geriatrics

 Geriatrics (> 65 years of age): Evidence from clinical studies and experience suggests that use in the geriatric population is associated with differences in safety or effectiveness (see Product Monograph: Warnings  and Precautions – Special Populations – Geriatrics).
